Damtri Arts - Magic System

Damtri MAGIC

Magic is energy and when this energy leaves one's body (eg. casting a Spell or using Material Magic) this energy is absorbed by the molecules around.

Each type of molecule has a specific amount of energy it can absorb. Which means everything has an amount of Magic Energy. Mortals cannot absorb the Magic Energy around them.

Everyone is born with a determined amount of Magic Energy they can keep in, therefore there's an amount of Magic Energy one can use. The Energy used by someone can be restored by eating or drinking, considering that everything has an amount of Magic Energy, it's in the best interest of anyone to eat or drink specific things.

There are two ways to use Magic, with the Damtri Arts, or Material Magic.The Damtri Arts are a piece of knowledge, a different way to use Magic Energy besides Material Magic.

The Three Damtri Languages

Used to cast Spells.

Rriste. The Language of the Past. The Language of Skills. Used to give any skills for anything or any person, besides the one casting it, for a short period of time.

Alchta. The Language of the Present. The Language of Alchemy. Used to transform anything or any person, besides the one casting it, for a short period of time.

Zaki. The Language of the Future. The Language of Curses. Used to curse anything or any person, besides the one casting it, for a short period of time.

Potions

Created by the use of Spells. It can grant any skill, transform anything, curse anyone, for a longer time than just a Spell.

Velos

Created by the use of Potions. It can grant any skill, transform anything, curse anyone, forever. Even for generations.

Material MAGIC

Material Magic is a power everyone is born with, the Magic Energy inside everyone has a way of coming out, which is genetic. More common are elemental skills, related to air, fire, water, and earth. But transformations are also common.

It is possible for someone to become a master in their own Material Skills, and it's also possible for someone to never practice and completely ignore their skills. The Magic Energy inside of someone doesn't need to go anywhere if they don't wish to.

Live ENERGY

If one consumes all of his Magic Energy thru Magical Acts, the body tends to use its Live Energy as a last resort, as Live Energy wears out, the body also wears out, to a point of no return.
